Binatbatan Festival

To begin, “Binatbatan” refers to the act of beating cotton pods to remove the seeds in preparation for Abel weaving. Locals regarded this as an occupational dance involving two sticks called "batbat." During the week-long festival, the Binabatan street dance is one of the primary attractions.

However, this is the second year that the Binatbatan Festival has been canceled due to the spread of the Corona virus. I can tell that during this pandemic, numerous events and occasions have been canceled, as well as enterprises that sell products created in our town, which have been halted and ruined.

Even though we haven't celebrated Binatbatan Festival in two years, it is still one of the nicest and most beautiful festivals I have ever seen.
