Prepare to Survive

Duck, Cover and Hold. These are the words we often think of when we hear the word earthquake. Three of the most essential DO's when shaking strikes the earth. The question is, are you ready?

Earthquake drill is not just a one-time activity that we  hold in our lives. We always participate on it for we also want to learn for survival and resiliency. As a student, we've already been engaged to this type of activity in our school every year. Now, being a part of this National Simultaneous Earthquake  Drill by the Philippine government will help every citizen of our country practice how to be safer in an occurence of earthquake. This opportunity will encourage the community to adhere with the proper ways of dealing a disaster. The program will help them prevent further damages or injuries that they might encounter unpredictably.  It will help us learn how to correctly respond to each situation we will be facing when there's an earthquake. Moreover, this preparation trainibg can also cut down the loss of lives that every disaster may give us.

Resiliency among us Filipinos is still a need and must be developed over time. One aspect of it is this preparation before any disasters. As we know, that Philippines is also a prone area for earthquakes, we should take every drills or trainiings seriously. Follow the steps and be able to survive and live.
